Alec D. Diaz is a Leader of Change & AI Strategist serving thought leaders, coaches, speakers and the organizations that develop them. He is a keynote speaker, author of The Intergenerational Strategist, creator of Stand ON Change™, host of The Alec Diaz Show, and founder of XConvergence, an AI strategy and implementation practice. He has a heart for building leaders of change who unlock their potential, lead the change in front of them, and multiply their impact, influence and income.

Alec brings leadership development, systems and AI together for organizations and leaders navigating exponential change, and helps speakers and coaches turn their message into a business that runs on systems instead of their calendar.

Before founding XConvergence, Alec rose to VP-level leadership in enterprise technology at some of the largest financial and data analytics institutions in the world, where he led approximately $25M in technology portfolios and more than 50 technologists, and built enterprise AI products producing about $10.8M in business value. He holds PMP, CSM, CSPO and SAFe 6 certifications.

He has spoken for BNY, the University of Central Florida (including UCF AI Day), NSBE THRIVE, The Salvation Army and Toastmasters International, and his team's idea was voted #1 at the Orlando Magic Innovation Challenge. He is a member of Les Brown's Hungry to Speak community.

Alec is also the founder and president of Kingdom Hooper Inc., a 501(c)(3) youth basketball and leadership mission, and the founder of Autonomous AI.

The story

Orlando, the enterprise, and the decision to leave

I grew up in Orlando, Florida, and built my career in enterprise technology: leading global software teams, managing multimillion-dollar initiatives, and shipping AI into one of the most regulated environments there is. I was good at it, and it paid well.

Then I left. Nobody pushed me out and my role wasn't cut, which made it harder rather than easier. I kept watching AI transformations stall for the same reason every time: nobody had built the people who had to lead the change. I could keep delivering inside one institution, or I could go build those people everywhere.

What I built next

Three things, in order. XConvergence, because organizations were buying AI without the people to lead the change. Stand ON Change™, a leadership methodology and flagship program, because the people were the missing piece every single time. And Autonomous AI, an AI operating system, because leaders who multiply need systems that work while they sleep.

Kingdom Hooper, the youth basketball and leadership mission I lead, is the fourth. Different rooms, same work.

Who I serve

Speakers, coaches and thought leaders with a story, a message or a methodology who want influence that extends beyond their personal time. For them I run the Founding Program, which builds the offer, brand, website and growth systems behind the message. And HR, talent and learning leaders responsible for developing people, building leadership capability and helping workforces adapt to AI.
